Things at Fangtasia aren't exactly normal... but one night, things go bad. A coven of witches appear at the vampire club to demand one fifth of Eric's profits on top of requesting his presence in their home for seven nights as a source of "entertainment". Eric, who laughs at the witches and their outrageous proposal, refuses. And vanishes before Pam and Chow's eyes.
Three nights later, Sookie Stackhouse finds him. He can't remember who he is, but Sookie cares for him while Pam and Chow hunt down the witches who started all of this. The two begin to bond and start a relationship. Bill Compton appears and warns Sookie that she is not falling in love with the real Eric, for he is under a witch's spell. So she goes to the only witch she knows for advice. Holly Cleary informs Sookie that the witches involved with the kidnapping are a very powerful group of dark witches who heighten their magical abilities by drinking V.
Determined to lift the spell from the man she is falling for, Sookie plans to wage war against the witches. She calls upon Barry Horowitz and Alcide's pack of werewolves, and Pam gathers the patrons of Fangtasia. Crystal Norris informs Sookie that Jason has also gone missing (likely at the hands of the evil witches), thus her werepanther pack will be joining Sookie's side in the upcoming war. Holly gathers a number of wiccans. And, together, they plan to take down the dark V-addicted witches lead by Hallow.
