SETTING
Our board is set in the fictional town of Santa Carla, California. It's a beach town that's big on tourism. A big attraction is the Boardwalk Amusement Park, which is open all year round, and consists of rides, concession stands, and games. There are also beautiful scenic areas such as beaches and bluffs. And then, of course, there are residential areas.
Santa Carla was based on (and filmed in) the real town of Santa Cruz, California. Its geographical location and overall appearance are comparable to those of Santa Cruz.
It is currently Summer, 2012.
